As the year comes to a close, FTD gears up for one of the biggest floral events of the year. We’re headed to beautiful Pasadena, California to participate in the Rose Parade®, an annual celebration on New Year’s Day, along with the Rose Bowl Game® – one of the biggest for college football fans. We are so lucky to once again be the Official Floral Company of the Tournament of Roses and the Sponsor of the Rose Parade Float Awards.
While the big day isn’t until January 1st, 2020, we’ll be there all weekend to kick off the excitement. There are tons of preparations that go into this special event, and we’ll be giving everyone a behind the scenes look on social media on how we get ready for the Rose Parade.
This year, we’ll be handing out fresh, beautiful roses to the attendees at special events leading up to the big game. Because what’s the Tournament of Roses without even more roses! You can find us at the public viewing of the flower-covered floats at the Rosemont Pavilion and the Rose Bowl Bash in downtown Los Angeles. Come say hi, receive a rose and join us as we celebrate a weekend full of exciting traditions.
FTD has been affiliated with the Rose Parade for more than 60 years. It is an honor to be part of its heritage and we couldn’t be more excited to continue our partnership. We love adding the floral decor that accents the antique vehicles which carry the Rose Parade VIP’s down Colorado Boulevard. After the Rose Parade and the big game, we’ll be busy celebrating the float awards to those who participated.
