Q. Who is eligible to redeem United MileagePlus Miles with FTD?

A. All MileagePlus members are eligible to redeem miles with FTD.

Q. Can I pay for my purchase using both miles and a credit card?

A. No, you may not split payments on purchases from FTD.com. You may pay with either United MileagePlus miles or a credit card.

Q. Can I purchase FTD products with a combination of United MileagePlus miles and an FTD gift certificate? 

A. No, you may not use a gift certificate for payment on the FTD.com United MileagePlus redemption site. You may pay with either United MileagePlus miles or a credit card.

Q. Can I purchase FTD products with a combination of United MileagePlus miles and an FTD coupon or discount code?  

A. No, you may not use a discount or coupon code for payment on the FTD.com United MileagePlus redemption site.

Q. If I redeem United MileagePlus miles to purchase from FTD.com, will I also earn United MileagePlus miles?

A. No, you may not redeem miles and earn miles on the same purchase at FTD.com.

Q. I have two United MileagePlus accounts. Can I combine miles from both of those accounts to purchase products from FTD?

A. Redemption purchases on FTD.com must be made from one active United MileagePlus account. For more information, please contact United MileagePlus customer service.

Q. I tried to place an order using my United MileagePlus miles, but I received an error message. Why do I only get a choice to pay with credit card?

A. This may happen if there has been a connection issue with Untied MileagePlus and we cannot validate your account. You may continue with your purchase and pay with a credit card.

Q. I have submitted an order using United MileagePlus miles, but now I would rather pay with a credit card. Can I get a mileage refund?

A. Once your purchase is completed, you may not change the payment type.

Q. Why does the total mileage amount differ from the sum of the subtotal mileage amounts of the individual items?

A. The prices of item subtotals are converted to mileage amounts based on a calculation and then rounded. Your actual total mileage price is the final total on the billing page. This amount will always be equal to or less than the sum of the subtotals of the individual items.
